2020 Happy New Year!

This set of designs fit the 4 inch and the 5×7 inch hoops.

One design is all one color and in both sizes

One design has 8 divisions and in both sizes.

These designs are appropriate on most any fabrics.

Mono Color Designs

One Color Designs – The Blue Sewout

Multi Color Designs

The multi color designs have 8 divisions. They can be sewn 1 color up to 8 different colors.

Eight Color Design -The Rainbow Sewout

I used 8 thread colors in this design

5 Color design

This color combination is the colors given in the artwork.

I used navy, plum purple, blue green, soft olive, and turquoise
Four Color Design – The White Sewout

Four Color Design – The White Sewout

The white sewout is made from threads silver white metallic, white iridescent, and 2 off whites. That’s 4 colors, each sewn twice.  Turn the speed down on your machine to 600SPM for specialty threads.

The metallic I used is almost white but looks darker in the photos, maybe because of the light, or a bad photographer. Sigh!

The iridescent thread doesn’t show up very well either. Which is a shame because it is really beautiful.

Three Color Design – Red, White, and Blue

Dee sewed this design on golden yellow fabric in red, white, and blue thread for a patriotic look.

Two color Design – The Red and Black sewout

Two colors each sewn 4 times.  – Red and Black

 Notions I used

  • 100% cotton fabrics
  • Pellon ShirTailor fusible stabilizer
  • Medium weight soft cut away embroidery stabilizer (not soft n sheer)
  • Madeira Polyneon threads
  • Wonderfil prewound bobbins
  • Size 12 top stitch needle

* Wonderfil bobbin threads are fine weight.. For this reason using them makes designs
much less dense. With a lower top tension it nearly disappears on the backside. I love
this feature because it makes the lace reversible without having to switch out the
bobbin color to match what is sewing on the top.

YES! I WANT MY 2020 HAPPY NEW YEAR!
