Tiffani is ON SALE for a limited time – through 8/31/19
Tiffani is a prissy little cat dressed in her lacy hat and scarf as her portrait was being taken. It was taking the photographer (me) a long time to get it right but she did not wilt or get bored with the process at all.

Perfectly named by the artist as ‘Enchanted’, when I saw these reindeer I didn’t hesitate to purchase the artwork. That was a few years ago before I got sick. I know they have already been digitized by others but that was a few years ago too. I’m finally getting around to digitizing them myself and it has been sheer pleasure looking at and sewing these precious reindeer.

I couldn’t resist digitizing these colorful angels. Usually we see angels in all white and these would be beautiful all white too. But I’m such a color girl I love seeing them in colors as well, especially pastel colors.
I know some people like outlines and some don’t. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t. In this case I like the outlines. So to please everyone I left the outlines to sew last. I padded the satin stitches so they stand up off the fabric better. For best results use very fine bobbin thread. Continue reading Angels Colors

This series started with the center design artwork. I love the design but it needed more. Adding pretty rings around it (wreaths) was an easy thought but nearly drove me nuts digitizing the green one – smiles. Then of course I had to make it into something that could be used as a quilt or pillow block. The lattice background and french knots are a favorite finish.
I say Extraordinary because like these designs, damask fabric looks different depending on which way you look at it. Dark areas appear when turned one way but are light when turned another way when other areas turn dark. Yet all the thread came off the same spool. It’s an extraordinary characteristic of damask fabric and machine embroidery thread.
