Made with love – Lisa Spivey’s Walker Bag Story…

Made with love by people like you…

“ Hi, Laura, I just wanted to thank you for posting instructions on your website for a Walker Bag. I made this one for an elderly friend who is recuperating from a broken leg and will definitely keep these instructions handy to make more for others in the future. I also included your link in a post on my blog, Piecework TreasuresI wrote today about this project. Thanks again so much for sharing.”

Sincerely,

No Drama Allowed

18 x 21 inches

Reading posts with friends on Facebook about how much drama occurs in holiday get togethers gave me the idea to make this design. I wasn’t sure it was a good idea at the time but friends chimed in telling me to make it, ‘it is necessary’.

I made this quilt for my friend Paula to display wherever and whenever she deems necessary.

Ear Warmers for Men Photos

My guy wanted his ear warmers in olive green cotton interlock. I added a layer of cotton batting for more warmth.

He didn’t want scrunchies on his because it was too bulky under his bike helmet.

But I did scrunch the center front a bit for photos.

I told him he could take it out afterward but he decided he liked it better this way.

Ear Warmers for Men and Women – Adult Sizes

My ears get chilly just sitting at my computer especially with the air cleaner on. We keep the house a bit chilly as well. I enjoy wearing these in the house as well as outside when it is cold.

Hubby wanted one to wear under his biking helmet – he is an avid biker.  His is the olive green sample.

Having a BAD HAIR DAY? Slip one of these on.

I selected natural fiber fabrics and cotton batting inside these to make them warm.

Once you have your supplies together, the ear warmers are quick projects to make. They make great gifts as well.

These are ‘puffy’ and don’t smash the hair on top of your head.

Sewing Machine LED Lighting

I wish I had her hair.

What a godsend! The addition of these lights is an amazing addition to your machine and sewing pleasure. To experience it is to believe it!

If your machine doesn’t have LED lights under the head  or not enough of them, you can easily add them with this kit. I endorse this product because I have it and it has greatly improved my visual acuity while sewing. I can clearly see what is going on on the right side of the needle.

As I have gotten older I found it more and more difficult to see clearly what I was sewing under the head of the machine. My hubby purchased one of these kits for me.
