I have sewn the  6, and 8 inch Ms July myself.  My coworker Dee sewed the 4 inch Ms. July. I know they sew very well. 

For best results use the notions I recommend, especially the bobbin thread and the stabilizers.

Notions

• Background fabric – I used 100% cotton fabric – Kona weight
• Pellon brand ShirTailor fusible stabilizer – I don’t recommend any other brand. Or get it at Joann’s
• 2 layers soft cut away
• Wonderfil pre-wound bobbins #80 weight or their #100 weight on the cone bobbin thread
• Madeira Polyneon threads
• Size 12 top stitch needle
