I have started making door quilt banners in lieu of wreaths. Wreaths can present a challenge to store and I wanted an option that would allow me to still be expressive in home decor. Poinsettias and Pomegranates is my Christmas quilt banner and, as with my other quilt banners, consist of two separate that can be sewn as suggested here or a variety of other arrangements, as you see fit.
The quilting you see in the designs is all done in the hoop, as part of the stitch sequence.
